On Sunday, 12th November, the Lord Lieutenant of Devon attended the Remembrance Service held on Plymouth Hoe. The service begun at 11am with a two-minute silence at the Royal Naval Memorial.

 

There, the Lord Lieutenant of Devon lay a wreath, followed by the Lord Mayor of Plymouth and the Naval Base Commander, alongside other representatives of the armed forces.

 

 

Following this, The Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Revd Justin Welby, led the Remembrance Sunday Service on Plymouth Hoe. The Lord Lieutenant of Devon stood beside The Archbishop as he saluted the processional parade that passed by.
