On 24th January, The Lord Lieutenant of Devon awarded textile manufacturer Heathcoat Fabrics with their Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation. He was accompanied by the High Sheriff of Devon and Deputy Lieutenant Philip Bostock OBE.
The company developed a high-performance parachute fabric that has contributed to outstanding commercial success, including delivery of NASA’s Perserverance Rover onto the surface of Mars in February 2021.
