On Wednesday, 16th November 2022, The Lord Lieutenant visited The Deaf Academy in Exmouth. Founded in 1826, the Deaf Academy provides a school and further education college for deaf young people aged 9-25, and currently has around 60 students. There, he was given a tour around the academy and met some of the staff and students.
